The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approved Funding Year 2006 Priority 2 commitments at the 90% discount rate and will deny Priority 2 commitments at 60% and below. We expect in the next couple of funding waves that the SLD will start issuing these funding letters. The FCC also will deny Funding Year 2005 Priority 2 commitments between 77-79%. The FCC has already approved Funding Year 2005 Priority 2 commitments at 81% and, according to a Funds For Learning analysis, $278,906,101.50 is still pending at the 80% discount band.
