On November 30, 2020, the Federal Communications Commission’s Wireline Competition Bureau released the final Eligible Services List (ESL) for Funding Year 2021. While the Commission incorporated the two minor clarifications originally proposed in the draft ESL, no new categories of products or services were added to the program’s eligible services framework.
In its ESL Order, the FCC also waived the program rule requiring that the ESL be released at least 60 days prior to the opening of the Form 471 application window, effectively authorizing USAC to open the FY2021 filing window at any time after the November 30 Order.
