USAC awarded an additional $59.7 million in E-rate funding for funding year 2020 this past week. The total committed amount is $1,452,767,445. There is another $1,359,239,166 in pending requests, representing 46% of the funds requested in funding year 2020. The chart below shows the detailed status of the funding applications, by service category. 64% of the Category One dollars requested for Internet access have been awarded compared to 39% of the Category Two dollars requested for on-campus connectivity.
