On July 3, 2018, the SLD disbursed $70,446 to E-rate service providers that submitted their Service Provider Invoices, Form 474. These are the first disbursements processed by the SLD for FY 2018. In order for applicants or service providers to receive disbursements the services need to be delivered, the applicant must have a processed Form 486 and the service provider must submit their Form 473 (annual certifications). As of July 5, 2018, 13,377 applicants that have received funding commitments have also submitted their Form 486 for FY 2018 totaling $854 million worth of commitments.
Since 1998 schools and libraries have received $49.1 billion in commitments and $37.3 billion has been reimbursed to either the applicant or the service provider.
