The last date for applicants to start their competitive bidding process for FY2016 is Friday, April 1, 2016. Once a Form 470 is submitted to the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD), applicants must wait a minimum of 28 days before selecting a winning bid. However, after an applicant waits 28 days and has selected a service provider, they may need to negotiate a contract; get school board approval; and complete the Form 471, which does not give the applicant much time before April 29th, the Form 471 application deadline.
