On May 11, 2015, the FCC issued an Order denying requests from four applicants who requested an extension to file reimbursement paperwork after the deadline had passed. The FCC stated that “…none of the petitioners offer compelling explanations for their delay in seeking reimbursement. Instead they offer employee confusion, lack of understanding of the program rules, or staff turnover as bases for failing to seek reimbursement in a timely fashion, or no reason at all for their failure to timely submit invoices…”
