On March 25, 2014, FCC Chairman Thomas Wheeler and Commissioner Ajit Pai testified at the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government. Chairman Wheeler’s testimony reinforced the need for the agencies request for $375 million which would help support the FCC’s Universal Service Reform efforts. Commissioner Pai focused his testimony on the need for E-rate reform and his vision of a student-centered approach.
