On April 22, 2013, the USAC Schools and Libraries Committee approved the SLD’s recommendation to begin making funding commitments for FY 2013 Priority One applications. The Committee also approved the SLD’s recommendation to deny requests for Priority Two applications at the 80% discount rate and below. This decision directly impacts 1,094 applicants who requested a total of $311.9 million in Priority Two requests.
The SLD released the first FY 2012 funding wave on July 11, 2012.
