The Apply Online section of USAC’s SLD website will be unavailable from Wednesday, September 2, 2009 through Sunday, September 13, 2009, according to an announcement posted on the SLD’s website. This window of downtime will allow USAC to upgrade and move their systems in advance of functionality enhancements that are expected in the coming months.
During the period of downtime, forms will not be accepted online through the Apply Online section of the SLD’s website. Any forms that are due during this time, must be submitted either online before the SLD’s systems go offline, or submitted on paper to the address indicated on the form. While this portion of the SLD’s system is offline, USAC will not process any forms it receives, but will use the postmark date of forms received on paper to determine when they are filed.
The exception to this is the Form 470. Any Forms 470 received on paper by the SLD will be scanned and posted to a listing page on the website. This is being done to ensure that applicants’ Form 470 process proceeds with minimal interruption.
