This week, the SLD resumed issuing funding for Funding Year 2008 with a wave for 622 applicants across the country. This wave, the 33rd of the year, includes $31.5 million in commitments for Priority One and $30 million in commitments for Priority Two requests.
This funding wave also includes a substantial amount of denials in the Priority Two funding categories. The total amount denied in these categories topped $85 million.
