Funds For Learning and eSchool News surveyed more than 700 E-rate applicants on their thoughts and opinions about the E-rate program. The results of the survey are available now in the June issue of eSchool News.
The survey results show that among those who expressed an opinion:
- the E-rate program is meeting its goal of connecting classrooms to the Internet,
- most schools would not be able to maintain their current level of Internet connectivity without the E-rate program,
- the E-rate program is well managed by program administrators,
- outreach and education efforts made by the SLD have been helpful.
The complete eight-page report is also available from the website of eSchool News.
