The SLD has issued the third funding wave for FY 2008. This wave awards $13.24 million in commitments for applicants in fourteen states. in all, 230 applicants were issued funding commitment decisions for funding requests for the upcoming year.
This wave brings the total committed funding to just under $395 million for Funding Year 2008, which begins on July 1. To date, all of the funding committed has been in the Telecommunications and Internet Access service categories.
