The SLD released two funding waves on Monday, February 11, 2008 totaling $3.5 Million in commitments. The Funding Year 2005 wave covered a dozen applicants from American Samoa, New Jersey, New York, Texas, and Wisconsin. Applicants in these states were awarded $2.1 Million. In this wave, labeled 66M, also included over $900,000 in reductions or rejections of funding requests.
The second funding wave released, which features appeal decisions for Funding Year 2003, included a mix of approvals and rejections for applicants in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and California.
