The SLD just announced $18 Million in E-rate funding commitments for applicants in Funding Year 2007. According to the latest E-rate Funding Decisions Report issued by Funds For Learning, 96 applicants and 216 service providers were included in decisions in the 38th wave issued for the funding year.
This latest round of funding commitments brings the total committed for 2007 to $1.95 Million leaving roughly $1.3 Million in requests remaining to be reviewed by program administrators. The largest commitments in this wave were issued for funding requests made by Lower Kuskokwin School District in Alaska. This district received $3.1 Million in commitments in all four service categories.
