The SLD notified 4265 applicants and 1892 vendors about the status of their FY 2007 E-rate requests committing $391 million while denying $100 million.The SLD committed $71.8 million for priority two requests (internal connections and basic maintenance) at the 90% discount rate. Earlier this week the SLD at the USAC Board Meeting recommended they fund FY 2007 priority two requests down to the 83% and above which is still pending FCC approval.Nearly $902 million has been committed and $2.76 billion is pending in FY 2007.
The SLD also released several appeal waves this week.
