The SLD released wave 43 for FY 2006 committing $4.6 million of which $2 million was for priority two applications. The SLD has committed $1,771,006,045 and has $965,113,394 pending in FY 2006 requests. There is still no indication when USAC will begin issuing priority two commitments below the 87% threshold.
The SLD also released two appeal waves in the last week. The State of South Carolina received a commitment of approximately $3 million in Appeal Wave A06 for FY 2006 and El Monte Union High School District was committed over $6 million in Appeal Wave A33 for FY 2002.
