The Schools and Libraries Division announced late January 6 that it will resume issuing funding commitment waves for the 2004 funding year on January 11, and begin approving internal connections requests from applicants with a discount rate of as low as 81%.
The SLD said that it had not yet determined how low the threshold for approved internal connections would be able to go.
With this wave, the SLD said it would resume issuing waves for 2004 on a biweekly basis. It was not clear when the next wave for the 2003 funding year will be issued.
