The Schools and Libraries Division announced that on August 3 it will commit another $61.3 million for the 2004 funding year in 875 letters to E-rate applicants. There was no change in the threshold of approved internal connections, which remains at 90 percent. This 9th wave grows the SLD's total commitments to more than $764 million in 22,109 funding commitment letters for the 2004 funding year. The next wave for the 2004 funding year is expected on August 17.
