The Schools and Libraries Division announced May 17 that it will release another $94.2 million worth of funding commitments for the 2002 funding year on May 21. The 2,564 letters will notify applicants that they have received support for telecommunications services and Internet access.
There was no new information on the status of internal connections requests, which are still pending for applicants qualifying for a discount rate of 80 percent or higher.
