The Universal Service Administrative Company announced September 13 the appointment of George McDonald to USAC Vice President with overall responsibility for the Schools and Libraries Division. In this role, Mr. McDonald will manage all aspects of the E-rate program.
Mr. McDonald has served as Director of Operations of the SLD since 1998, and has been the acting head of the Division since the resignation of Kate Moore in June. Prior to joining USAC, Mr. McDonald was Deputy Director of the office of Budget and Program Performance for the Department of Transportation. Mr. McDonald is a graduate of Fordham University and holds a BA in Mathematics.
