The Schools and Libraries Division announced July 24 that funding commitment letters issued in the first waves of Year 4 may incorrectly indicate that it will be denying all requests for internal connections below the 90 percent discount rate.
The SLD said that statement is in error because it has not yet determined whether it will be able to fund internal connections requests carrying discount rates of 85 to 89 percent. It HAS determined that it will not be able to fund requests below 84 percent. It is still waiting to determine whether it will be able to provide all of the requested money for applicants at the 90 percent discount rate.
