Mickey Revenaugh, vice president of outreach and education for the Schools and Libraries Division, will be leaving the SLD, effective Sept. 3.
Revenaugh plans to join Broadband Networks Inc., of State College, PA, as director of K-16 marketing. BNI designs, manufactures and integrates high-speed interactive video, data and voice networks. Revenaugh indicated that she will be working primarily out of her home in New York City.
Revenaugh has played a key role at the SLD since she joined it in December 1997. She was the "face" of the E-rate program at dozens of training sessions and educational conferences around the country. More recently, she chaired a task force that recommended changes for the third year of the program and coordinated the resolution of appeals to the SLD of its first-year funding decisions.
