Today, April 20, 2017, USAC has announced that the EPC will be unavailable on Sunday, April 23rd between 7:00 – 10:00pm EST for the monthly system maintenance. Applicants will not be able to gain access to the portal during the planned system maintenance.
Recently, the FCC Chairman Ajit Pai voiced his concerns with the EPC system, stating that the EPC implementation issues have created major headaches for applicants requesting E-Rate funding. A response from USAC with its plan to address persistent EPC issues among others is due on May 18, 2017.
SLD has apologized for the scheduled EPC system outage.
