The FCC has released their agenda for the May 6th E-rate Modernization Workshop. The workshop will begin with opening remarks and then transition into short presentations including moderated question-and-answer periods featuring education and library leaders. Discussion will be centered on the benefits and possibilities that are obtainable by meeting the connectivity goals proposed by the FCC for schools and libraries. The workshop will wrap-up with a roundtable tackling the critical issues which must be dealt with in order to promote access to broadband connectivity.
The free workshop will be held at the FCC and is open to the public, and also provided as a live-streamed event online at http://www.fcc.gov/live.
