The Schools and Libraries Division announced January 24 that it would be distributing another $117.9 million worth of funding commitments for the 2004 funding year in 168 commitment letters.
That will bring total committed so far for 2004 to about $1.7 billion. The SLD is currently authorized to commit up to $2.4 billion for the 2004 funding year.
In this latest wave, number 12, the SLD will continue to approve internal connections requests for applicants at a discount rate of 81 percent or higher. More details on the specifics of the wave will become available later this week.
