On May 20, 2013, USAC announced that they will issue the first funding wave for Funding Year 2013 on May 29, 2013. The wave will contain “over $130 million in commitments for Priority 1 services (Telecommunications Services and Internet Access) requested in 12,023 applications.”
The wave will be issued just 76 days from the close of the filing window on March 13, making it the third fastest initial funding wave in program history.
