Applicants and service providers are reminded that the Funding Year 2020 Form 471 filing window will close at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, April 29. Originally scheduled for March 25, the FCC extended the application deadline by 35 days “to minimize potential disruptions caused by…COVID-19.”
Funds For Learning predicts that roughly 37,000 Form 471 applications will be submitted for Funding Year 2020. As of April 21, 2020, however, only 26,640 applications had been certified:
Last-minute filers are encouraged to file as soon as possible, as USAC’s systems have historically experienced delays and lockouts due to high traffic volume.
