The SLD announced that a targeted E-rate application window for school districts and libraries affected by the recent hurricanes opened on Monday, November 13. According to a Funds For Learning analysis, as of Friday, December 8, nineteen applicants, all from Puerto Rico, filed an additional Form 471 application to support their rebuilding efforts. These nineteen schools requested $145,276.02 with a total E-rate project value of $195,421.40. The Hurricane filing window will close on Wednesday, December 13. Funds For Learning will publish a Hurricane filing window analysis report once the window closes.
