On May 16, 2017, the FCC Wireline Competition Bureau notified USAC that the FY 2017 Program Integrity Assurance Procedures (PIA) have been approved. This FCC action leads the way for the USAC to begin approving the FY 2017 Form 471 funding applications that have been received to date.
As of today, 40,391 FY 2017 Forms 471 have been submitted by 22,860 applicants, totaling $3.2 billion. The pre-discount amount for FY 2017 is $4.6 billion.
