On March 7, 2017, twelve United States Senators sent a letter to FCC Chairman Ajit Pai expressing their concern that the Commission has rescinded the E-rate Modernization Progress staff report that highlighted the success of the FCC reforms. The Senators have asked FCC Chairman Pai to guarantee that this treasured program will not be undermined in any way under his watch.
