The Library Community Supports SECA’s Invoice Review Petition
On June 21, 2016, the American Library Association joined the chorus of stakeholders who would like to see the FCC reconsider their position on the lack of flexibility in the invoice extension deadline regulations. The ALA specifically argued that they, “….understand that the FCC tightened the invoice deadline procedures with the intent to improve program efficiency. Unfortunately the new regulation and procedures do not also balance the need to be flexible when applicants miss a ministerial deadline..”
