The pace of Form 470s has proven to be remarkably steady this filing season. Applicants continue to submit requests for bids at a consistent clip, albeit at a slower and more tedious pace than in prior funding years. Currently, the Form 470s are being submitted at a rate of about 1,500 per week. If this pace continues, the total count of FY2016 Form 470s is likely to fall in the range of 30,000 to 33,000 applications, slightly less than the 34,853 Form 470s submitted in FY2015.
