Preliminary FY2011 Demand Estimate

The Funding Year 2011 filing window closed on March 24, 2011. Funds For Learning has gathered the below stats available thus far for FY2011. This analysis is a preliminary FY2011 demand estimate, as not all the Form 471 applications are in the SLD’s Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) yet. There are also several large applicants, such as the New York City Board of Education, who file paper Forms 471 and it may take a week or more for that information to be entered and get into the DRT. The New York City Board of Education files on behalf of 1,600 sites and typically requests approximately $300 million annually.

When all the information has been entered accurately into the SLD’s DRT, Funds For Learning will update these numbers with our final analysis on the FY2011 funding picture.
