With the eighteenth wave of funding year 2010, USAC approved $23.89 million in requests. This funding wave included 1,129 requests from 325 applicants. averaging $73,498.63 per applicant. Funding wave 018 also included 349 service providers averaging $68,444.28 per request. The funding wave denied requests for 175 applicants, totaling $8.1 million. To date, USAC has approved over $1.25 billion in E-rate funding commitments for funding year 2010.
