Last week the SLD released wave 40 for Funding Year 2005. This was the first wave in which the SLD funded priority two (internal connections and basic maintenance) requests down to 88%. The SLD notified over a thousand applicants and service providers and committed a total of $73 million with $55.7 million for priority two funding. The SLD has committed $1.44 billion with $1.17 billion still pending in 2005.
