Last week the SLD committed $44,012,464.47 in the third wave of 2006 funding. The SLD notified 919 applicants and 671 service providers about the status of their funding. The SLD has committed over $203 million with $3.3 billion pending.
The SLD also released wave 47 of the 2005 Funding Year. Over $12 million was committed with approximately $3.6 million for priority two funds at the 86% discount rate level. There is no indication when the SLD will lower the discount rate further. In 2005, the SLD has committed $1,633,919,315 and has $841,246,492 still pending.
