The SLD committed $23 million this week for Funding Year 2006 and sent funding letters to approximately 450 applicants and 390 service providers. This wave consisted of only priority one services and there is still no indication when the SLD will start issuing priority two commitments. To date the SLD has committed $504 million with $2.9 billion pending.
